With the recent news of Steve Jobs stepping down at Apple, it’s given us pause to reflect on what makes a great leader. We’ve always been inspired by what Steve and the people at Apple have created and it’s that relentless drive toward perfection, creativity and vision that we need in business today.
As we consider the ways that technology, connected devices and consumer behavior drive business innovation, this year’s Interplay agenda is intended to generate a valuable and engaging conversation across these and other topics. We’re very excited to announce our line-up of speakers for our Interplay 2011 event on September 15-16.
Ellen McGirt, Senior Writer for Fast Company will keynote the Day One and share her observations about leaders whose creativity and innovation are not only changing the way we do business but are having an impact on how we live. With access to influencers such as Nike’s Mark Parker, Mark Zuckerberg and John Chambers, she’s taking care to profile the leadership and initiatives that are changing the world. Her most recent cover story (Fast Company, July/August) on Matt Damon’s ambitious project to bring clean water to Africa with the organization water.org is an example of a partnership that inspires global progress which we’ll look forward to discussing at Interplay.
We’d like to hear about the leaders who have inspired business from your perspective and why. Share your ideas here and look forward to Ellen’s Interplay keynote, “Changing the World through Innovation and Creativity in Business”. We hope our partners and clients will join us at Interplay 2011 to talk with Ellen and our esteemed group of speakers about big ideas, creativity and innovation!
