BJ Fogg is one of the preeminent advisers and educators on persuasion and behavior change. He directs research and design at Stanford University’s Persuasive Technology Lab, using research to develop insights into how technologies — from websites to mobile devices — can be designed to influence consumer behavior and change beliefs. His research centers on understanding the cause of behavior, how to motivate change, and persuade people to use certain products or services that can improve their lives, health or everyday experiences. This is powerful stuff for marketers, and BJ is excited to share some of his insights and techniques with the Interplay audience next week! He looks forward not only to presenting our opening session Thursday morning, but staying throughout the event to discuss your own organizational challenges and collaborate on how to motivate your audiences to change — for the better! He unfortunately will not bring any of his chickens.
